As we get closer to Eid, many people often ask what Eid really means.
Eid Al Fitr is a special celebration for Muslims around the world that comes after the blessed month of Ramadan. For 30 days, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, focusing on prayer, gratitude, charity, and self reflection.
Eid is not just a celebration. It is a day of gratitude to Allah for giving us the strength to complete Ramadan. It is also a day of kindness, family, community, and remembering those in need.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us beautiful Sunnah practices to follow on the day of Eid. Simple acts like preparing ourselves with cleanliness, wearing our best clothes, eating dates before the prayer, and spreading joy with family and friends.
These small traditions carry deep meaning and remind us that Eid is about faith, humility, and gratitude.
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during this blessed month and allow us to reach Eid with hearts full of peace and gratitude.
