Shawna Kuykendall Interiors is looking for a Summer 2026 Interior Design Intern to join our high end residential design studio in Dallas. This is a full time paid internship for a motivated and detail oriented design student who is ready to gain real hands on experience in a fast paced studio environment.

From sourcing furniture and fabrics to building mood boards assisting with installations and joining showroom and site visits you will be exposed to every phase of the design process.

One of our biggest projects from 2025.

What was once a dated 90’s home is now a modern, intentional space designed for everyday living. This renovation was a full transformation from layout to finishes, bringing new life, flow, and personality into every room.

In 2025, we leaned into color, mixed pattern with intention, and designed spaces meant to be lived in—not just looked at. From bold bedrooms and moody libraries to playful dining rooms and layered living spaces, every project told a story that felt personal, thoughtful, and unapologetically SKI.
