I'm at a loss here... I had a new oven installed and there are gaps between it and the drywall. We put up this self sticking molding and it looks cheap. Someone suggested we frame it with the same trim as around the closets but I think that would make it look too busy... I'd love your opinions.

Cutting tile to install microwave. In order to install a microwave I need to cut down this tile backsplash (that my contractor recommended I make higher to hide the edge) so that the bracket can be screwed to the wall. I thought it would be no problem, just buy a grinder with a tile blade and go to work.. now that I think it through, I don’t know how I would cut up against the cabinet on either side without cutting into them. What’s the best way to go about it? Should I just call a tile guy?
