THE PLAN CHANGED. THE VISION DIDN’T.
One thing business will teach you quickly: you have to know when to pivot.
What worked in one season may not work in the next.
Your customers change.
The market changes.
Your capacity changes.
And sometimes you change.
Pivoting doesn’t always mean the idea failed.
Sometimes it means you paid attention.
I’ve had to learn how to stay committed to the vision without becoming overly attached to the original plan.
Be focused enough to know where you’re going — and nimble enough to change how you get there.
That lesson has saved me more than once in business.
What’s something you’ve had to pivot in your business?
Comment “PIVOT” if you’re currently in a season of figuring out your next move.
