Just in time for summer, we’re proud to introduce the Dallas Zoo South Garage, an essential first step in the zoo’s long-term vision for a reimagined arrival experience.
Designed to do more than park cars, the structure reinforces the Dallas Zoo’s identity through a custom perforated metal facade inspired by giraffe markings. The pattern emerges through varying perforation densities, creating a dynamic and recognizable architectural expression. Combined with planted trellises, native landscaping, and sustainable design strategies, the project demonstrates how even utilitarian structures can support mission, brand, and environment!
