Texas Knit 'Em

Texas Knit 'Em Texas Knit ‘Em is your source for affordable beginner and intermediate knitting patterns.

Most of the designs are named for places and features of the great big, wonderful State of Texas. I’ve been knitting since about age six and remain passionate about the craft. With a new technique to learn, or pattern or stitch to master, it’s always interesting, challenging, and satisfying. Having been trained as an engineer, I especially enjoy doing the math required to develop new designs or to

incorporate existing designs into various knitted pieces, including dishcloths, hanging towels, blankets, hats and cowls. I strive to give good value with my downloadable patterns available on Ravelry. It's my hope that my patterns will help you gain confidence in your skills and lead you to love knitting as much as I do.

I have been working on this design. It's not quite right yet. I worked three rows of "blocks" for the bottom border, but only two for the top. I need to do a bit of finagling. By the way, it's a dishcloth.

Have some fun with a dishcloth or facecloth! This set has three stitch patterns. The instructions are written and/or charted. Use 100% cotton worsted weight yarn for maximum absorbency. These instructions produce a dense fabric that wears well. Uses knit and purl stitches.
