while experimenting with my recipe, I had a full blown panic attack thinking my dough had spoiled. After further research & investigation- IT WAS SALT!

*shel•dough is made of a handful of natural ingredients.

**none of these ingredients contain sugar, a necessary component for icky bacteria growth! All of our oils and pigments are vetted as well.

***after shipping, or resting for a few days, your dough may have settled and shifted the salt to the surface area. A quick knead will get all of the natural ingredients back bonded together! 💜

This set of dough really encourages language development and communication during play. 💜

There are hundreds of opportunities here to imagine, create, and invent all sorts of sky scenarios! 🌌

For example, start by naming and building things in the sky by color. Then you can put them together in different scenes! Grab some plastic dollar store items to squish in the dough, and voila! You have played for hours, screen free, bonded with your humans, and practiced countless vocabulary words.

Imaginary play is so important and valuable for every age. I hope you have so much (dough much!) fun! 💜

🎉 there are two more weeks left in my summer break and I am nervous and excited! 🎉 this year, I am moving schools and districts! I am staying in Kindergarten, and my oldest child is joining me this year in the best grade ever. I can’t wait to match outfits & make new friends with her on our new adventure!!
