Meet Me in St. Louis is one of those movies that always helps me get in the right frame of mind for all the holidays approaching us. There are so many wonderful songs, and Judy Garland is simply beautiful. It’s one of my top ten favorite movies, and having it on while I sing along and clean house is, in my opinion, the very best way to get the job done!

I also want to thank my sweet friend 👩🏻‍💼 Melissa 👩🏻‍💼 for helping me bring these lovely antique Halloween postcards into my collection. I have more and cannot wait to share them too.

After what felt like 97 years of summer, the rain finally showed up, the temperature dropped, and suddenly… I see hope for cooler weather for Halloween.

I gave this paper plate to my dear friend and illustrstor William “Bubba” Flint William Bubba Flint and he painted the picture perfectly for me. I am in awe of his talent! And then I paired it with a fabulous black cat I bought from my dear friend Georgia 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 because it paired so well with the picture. 🐈‍⬛

I do love this time of season!
