PINK ROOSTER was originally founded in 2015 by two Funky Chicks from Dallas. Cheryl, with a fashion background of over 30 years, a Professional Fit Model, fashion/design consultant and trend follower! Susan, an insanely talented Artisan Jewelry Designer & vintage lover with a quirky funky side. These two best friends got together to create a unique & trendy BoHo Boutique. Offering the
most unusual pieces & accessories, not to be found anywhere else. We searched all over the world for the latest & greatest trends. Nothing made us happier than to share with our customers our amazing designs that were always on trend, different and with a slight twist of vintage funk! We worked hard to bring you the very best products and quality craftsmanship to every piece we designed. All our tassels and pom poms were completely hand done and never manufactured. We believed in fair trade and supporting the less fortunate of the world. Our purses, beads, etc. helped tribes in Thailand and Africa, to name a few. Over the past 10 years our business has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers and the ever shifting market of fashion and jewelry. From our early days of solely accessories and all handmade custom jewelry to our current focus of vintage offerings, we've always prioritized innovation, quality and customer satisfaction. Each chapter in our journey has shaped who we are today. As many companies experienced tremendous loss over the Pandemic we also felt unprecedented challenges in ours. To continue doing what we loved so much and to keep serving our customers, we had to make many difficult changes. Meeting the new demands that were upon us, we decided to shift gears, focus on vintage pieces and adapt to the ever changing unfamiliar times ahead. In a present world dominated by super big online retailers like Amazon, we couldn't compete on speed and price for our unique one-of-a-kind handmade accessories. What set us apart was the heart and craftsmanship that went into every piece we created. Each item thoughtfully designed by the two of us and made with extreme care. We always offered our customers quality and uniqueness that mass produced goods simply could never match. By choosing handmade you supported artisanship, sustainability and something truly unique. Fast forward to the end of 2024 as we approach our 10 years in business, it's incredible to reflect on this journey we've been on. Two best friends having the time of their lives doing what they love and making the most beautiful friends all along the way. We've made so many changes to grow, adapt and better serve our customers over the years. We officially closed our mercantile retail store in 2023, Our vintage traveling Shasta Trailer is presently up for sale and each of us went back to the working world fulltime. To all of our incredibly loyal customers we thank you for valuing what we did and for supporting our small business through this decade. Life gets busy fast and change is inevitable. Hard decisions were made to reflect these ever changing times. Accepting my very best friend/business partners exit from the company was not easy but it was best for us in these uncharted waters.
