Many have asked about Phinneus- here is a picture from this weekend. Huge shoutout to Country Corner Animal Clinic for getting him in right after the fire and to Orrville Pet Spa & Resort for boarding him for us until we were able to get things ready to bring him home. Happy1st anniversary to one of my favorite customers - I have done many flowers for this couple over the years including proposal flowers. So happy I could do these for them. Store is almost emptied- thanks to Larry for allowing us to take over Douglas Insurance (couldnā€™t make it through this without him) as well as the Beattys and Jason & Traci for giving us places to store things until we can sort through them.

A week has passed - sometimes it feels like it was yesterday and other times it seems much longer. As we have gone through many things this week I have decided I can describe what has happened in three words. First heartbroken- I stood and watched 18 years of hard work be destroyed. I also watched others suffer in many different ways and that hurt too. My second word is humbled. We arenā€™t facing this alone. We have the most amazing family, friends, customers, neighbors and honestly some complete strangers who have helped and reached out to us in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Thank you to everyone - if we have not said it to you personally itā€™s not because we arenā€™t grateful itā€™s just because we are overwhelmed but please know the kindness we have been shown is what is keeping us going. And finally we are hopeful. Our intent is to come back with a vengeance. We love Dalton and we love our business and one day soon Ambolinas will open its doors. If anyone would happen to have old newspapers or totes to help pack up some glass vases and other items that survived the fire, it would be greatly appreciated. We will be here going through things this afternoon. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As many may know Friday evening our building caught on fire. The fire was mainly upstairs but damage to the building is extensive. Our ā€œkidsā€ upstairs lost pretty much everything including their much loved dog and cat. I am just glad that they are safe. The store has water and smoke damage. For anyone who has orders placed or needs something I will be working out a way to do things at our house until we can get back on our feet. We think our store cat Phinneus got out the back door so please if you live in town watch for a black and white cat. Thank you for all the thoughts - Iā€™m just not able to respond right now. We are heartbroken and this is going to take awhile to get a grip on things.
