***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***
(Please excuse this terrible photo of me, but I swear this is an important announcement)

5 years ago I got my set of keys to my first little studio on Mill street. I was so excited (and extremely nervous) to be opening the doors to Knack, so I could share my love of creativity with our community. It was exhausting, and challenging, but soooo rewarding, and you guys showed up and supported me through it all: a new business concept for Danville, a pandemic, a location change, and lastly a sale of the business to DACC.

I sold Knack to the DACC in 2022 in hopes that the arts would be a valued part of their programming for years to come, and with hopes to provide our community with even more creative options for all ages and abilities.

Unfortunately I have to share the difficult news that DACC has decided that it would be most fiscally responsible for them to close Knack as of April 30. While our time was shorter than I had hoped, sharing Knack with our community has been an incredible experience. I’ve loved having you and your kids come to the studio to embrace your creativity, and It’s been such an honor to be included in the experience of watching so many of your kids grow up. I truly appreciate everyone’s support over these past 5 years and will miss seeing you all at the studio. I could go on for hours about how much Knack and our community has meant to me, but for now, I’ll end it here. I will forever be grateful for this chapter in my life.

Ava Kate has been sewing with me for a few years now, and I've loved seeing her skills and confidence with sewing grow! We just wrapped up a 6 week private session, where she wanted to learn how to make a quilt. Not only did she do an AMAZING job, but she also inspired me to learn how to make a quilt that I'll be gifting to my bestie who's having a baby. ⁠

Sewing Classes for levels 1, 2, and 3 will be starting on March 11 and March 12. ⁠
-Sewing Level 1 will be Mondays from 3:45-4:30. March 11-April 22 (no class on April 1)⁠
-Sewing Level 2 will be Mondays from 4:30-5:15. March 11-April 22 (no class on April 1)⁠
-Sewing Level 3 will be Tuesdays from 4:45-5:30. March 12-April 23 (no class on April 2)⁠
