My mama made breads and cookies for the St. Joseph altar in Hahnville. I love so many things about this altar - the little pasta nests, the lemon tree, the braided rose bread, the creative cuccidatas, the variety of cookies, the woven bread basket filled with goodies, the rose cakes, sweet little lamb cakes and my mom’s sweet little baby Jesus bubakalova (which was my favorite part). Happy St. Joseph’s Day!
