Here's a neat project - crafting a custom belt that matches part the costume of a movie character.
Ended up with a really interesting velcro closure on the back - a very smooth line, low profile, no buckles. But limited to about a +/- 2" adjustability.
Great treasure hunt to find hardware that could closely match the original.

I very interesting special request came in.
A hand loop for automobile entry/exit assist that can hang off those spring loaded handles above the door. You can't reach that handle from the outside, or hold it as well when getting out.
So a *very* sturdy loop of soft but thick 1" wide leather with a stainless steel buckle, hand stitching and solid brass rivets.
oxblood color to complement a black vehicle interior.
Made a pair of them, now packed for tomorrow
