À la carte weddings for the win! When I developed my à la carte items 2 years ago I was looking to fill the gap for a couple that wants fresh local in-season florals that are unique to their special day. Never formulaic each bouquet is a unique mix of all the best the Farmette has to offer in your style palette.

Hey brides and grooms! It’s kinda chic to hire a local farmer-florist for pollinator friendly, Maryland grown, in-season wedding florals! It’s also kinda chic to be able to get the very best local flowers for your budget (psst…DIY, à la carte or full service). Just sayin’ that’s kinda chic. 😘 some photos courtesy of Patricia Phillips McDonald

Spring 2027(…yes 2027!!! ) babies are growing up fine in the greenhouse. Here Fairytale Farmette we start seeds for the following April-June in the previous June/July. Almost a WHOLE YEAR in advance. These babies will get planted in the field in late September, early October then “tucked in” under frost blankets from December until March. It’s a lot of work to get Springtime blooms in Marylands zone 7b climate but well worth it come May when the field is bursting with blooms ❤️
