December 10th: We wanted to let the girls get festive too this year! I have seen scarves, sweaters and Santa hats for the chickens but I couldn’t bring myself to getting any… the chicks modeling the attire looked quite unhappy! So they get lights and a little wreath! And to be quite honest, if you zoom in and look in the window, they don’t look real happy about this either!

December 5th: The place where all of the good conversations happen, the table. I typically don’t go “all out” on the table setting so this is a lot for me! When setting it this year I thought about fabric napkins and realized, I am 100% an adult now 😂 I guess that is something else to add to the list! This will be the table up until the big day, and then I will get to use my grandmother’s china for the first time and I am over the moon just thinking about it.

December 9th: This guy right here. I picked him up at the Goodwill several years back for $4.99 and he has been one of my favorite additions to the Christmas collection. I’ve noticed with the guests over the years, you either love him or hate him (some have said he is scary!) but I am on the love train with it. Billy had to glue the back of him on before we hung him this year, so he’s starting to show his age but I hope he’s around for many more years. Also, Billy had requested that next year, I find somewhere else to hang him besides over the toilet….. 🫣

December 7th: The tree on the right of this photo was my Nana’s. There is no stand, and almost half the branches are missing, but I can’t bring myself to throwing it away. I set it in a planter, and tuck it in a corner and bring all the limbs to the front, so the missing pieces aren’t noticeable. I think she would like it here on the porch, cozy with a fire ❤️
