Clearing Ice, Crushing Cancer. 🩷
Last month, our team sat at a table at Ignite the Fight, the annual gala for Pink Ribbon Good. Outside, pink concrete mixers, dump trucks, and box trucks lined the lane. Inside, more than 140 names were read aloud, PRG clients lost to cancer in the past year. Before the night was over, that room raised more than $1 million in about ten minutes.
Champion signed on as a Pink Ribbon Good Dayton Region partner earlier this year. That night, most of us heard the whole story for the first time.
Pink Ribbon Good started right here in Dayton. It provides free healthy meals, rides to treatment, cleaning essentials, and peer support to people with breast and gynecological cancer and their families, regardless of income.
Here’s our part:
👉 Champion Contractor’s Choice Ice Melt now comes in a pink bag, filled with pink salt you can actually see on the ice
👉 One of our delivery semis is wrapped in pink and rolling with the Pink Fleet
👉 Champion has made a committed partnership gift to PRG for the 2026-2027 salt season
The full story is on our blog, including how founder Heather Salazar went from a Meijer parking lot in Englewood to serving families across the country. Link in the comments.
If you spot our pink semi or a pink bag out there, snap a photo (safely) and tag us.
