This was a project for a friend for his mom for Christmas. First time for a sign but I really enjoyed figuring it out and watching it come together. The letters are designed to appear from the back black area due to the placement of the grey stained pieces creating a different way to see the letters. Fairly large and extensive project but what a blast. The base frame and letters are cedar and the topper and bottom to the frame are treated lumber as well as the posts.

A huge “thank you” to Benezette Wineries in Benezette, PA and Copper Fox Winery near Kersey, PA for giving me the opportunity to place some of my wine racks in their stores. What a great opportunity, if you’re in those areas check them out. They have many items and a great selection of wines.

Wanted to try something a little different and use the support pieces on the back so the fractal burns would stand out more, stained with Early American and 3 coats of wipe on spar urethane. Message if interested, I like how this one turned out. Thanks for visiting!

This was a first test run for the fractal burning. I decided to clean up the board with a little water and a toothbrush. This was the first trial run, before I made the wine/spirits bottle rack with the same process.

A little video of the fractal burning I did on the one wine and spirits bottle rack. This process is very interesting and enjoyable to watch.

Here are some pictures of the wine and spirits bottle racks that I recently completed. They are constructed of reclaimed pallet wood. The pipe fittings are secured with T Nuts inserted in the back of the boards and screws on the fl**ge fitting. The oil has been removed and spray lacquer has been applied to seal the metal. There is a braided wire hanger on the back to be able to place in any wall stud in your home. The piece with weathered oak stain also has fractal burns to add character and depth. These will hold wine bottles as well as standard size liquor bottles.

Sizes: 34” long by 8” - 8 1/2” approximately
