Losing a furry family member is never easy. Having gone through it myself, it can feel like a piece of you is missing.

🪡Happy Small Business Week! ✂️

Some of you may be new to my pages and shop, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself so you all can get to know me a little better!

Hi! My name is Jessica from Jessica’s Critters & Crafts! I create felt keychains and ornaments of dog breeds, cats, even your own Custom Dog or Cat! 🐶🐾🐱
I also make seasonal ornaments as well as some other animals!🎄🐾
Each one is hand cut, and hand sewn, making each one special and unique! ✂️🪡

I started sewing as a hobby - an alternative to moving around too much due to chronic pain, and later, it became my job! With my love for both crafts and animals, it was only natural! I absolutely love bringing people’s pets to “life” with my art!

A little more about me…
When I’m not sewing, I like to cook and bake, play cozy video games, and spend time with family, friends, and pets!
I’m also planning my wedding for this October, so life is definitely busy, but full! ❤️💍

Just look at all of these National Animal Holidays happening today!

Today is National…

Therapy Animal Day!
(The pup I’m kissing in the photo was my therapy dog, Pepper. He passed back in 2015, but he brought so much joy and love to all sorts of people. I highly recommend finding out if your dog or pet would make a perfect therapy animal to help support people in need!)

Tabby Cat Day!
(My cat, Zoe is pictured here! Although sassy, we love her so much!) Consider adopting a tabby, and give love to the cats you already have! 🐾🐱

Adopt a Shelter Animal Day!
There are so many pets In shelters that need good homes. My fiancé and I are planning to adopt another cat after our wedding later this year! My parents adopted Echo, their long haired chihuahua mix, and it’s one of the best things that they could have ever done!

Pet Parents Day!
Yes - I am one of those people that believe that animals are our kids in a way! They’re truly a part of the family. If you’re a pet parent, flaunt it! Be proud of your furry (or not so furry) friends! You are your pet’s #1, so be proud of it!

Animal Advocacy Day!
Animals are important to us, and it’s important to show, love, compassion, and respect.
There are lots of things you can do to advocate, like adopting a pet, donating to animal rescue groups, and spread the word about ways to fight animal abuse.

And of course, with my small business, I create all sorts of felt pets, including tabby cats, therapy animals, shelter animals, and more in my shop!🛒🐾🐶🐱
You can get a custom one of yours made, or choose from some of the items I already have! I create art to make you can have a small physical reminder of what you truly love - your pet!
