I finished my Crimson Christmas quilt today. It was the 2024 Quilt Along from Krista Moser: The Quilted Life. It was a lot of fun to make. I love the diagonal green plaid backing fabric I found at The Quilters Corner & QuiltsInMontana.com. I used Whisp by Sew Shabby Quilting for the quilting.

It’s too hot for porch sitting, but when it cools down a bit it’s all ready. It’s nice and cool inside with the AC running and I’m getting some projects completed.

I had the honor of making this beautiful wall quilt for Riverwalk Crisis Center in Missoula where our daughter Loni is an RN. The pattern is called Wilderness.

I finished my Buffalo Lodge diagonal plaid tree skirt (that I made as a table topper instead) table runner and 2 placemats. Pattern by Krista Moser. I love it and it was fun to make!!

Rising Sun Quilt Studio has a new home. It made the move from Missoula to the countryside near Anaconda, MT. Not up and running yet as we need to get electricity installed so the longarm is temporarily set up in Helena, MT. Only taking minimal orders after the first of the year at this point. Stay tuned for more details in 2023.
