Less than 24 hours with my sweet Brookie visiting in St. Pete! We squeezed in a Vinoy Veranda dinner + brunch at Oxford Exchange. Can I say I am LOVING living here?! It just doesn’t feel real yet, I still feel like I’m visiting… when does that part wear off? Brooke MacGregor

A little bit of lately, verrry slowly adjusting to this new life ☀️

- loving our front porch comfy furniture, gas lanterns (always when possible), my terracotta pumpkins (the darkest one is from a set my grandmother had forever, I’ve tried to find more over the years + haven’t had any luck, it’s something I look forward to putting out every year).

-my new office set up, who needs a corner office w that view?!

-forever looking for the “ocean sparkle” I just think it’s magical

-coffee at the Vinoy has become something I look forward to

-the last video is a manatee in the first few seconds + then a baby dolphin jumping, pinch me. Is this really my new life?! 🥹🤍 I’m so grateful.

Its been a rough ten days. Last week we said see you later to our best girl, Addy. Addy was the sweetest, most beautiful, never met a stranger, once in a lifetime kind of dog. Her tail didn’t just wag, her whole b***y wiggled. Everyone that met her, loved her. She acted like she wasn’t the center of our universe because as soon as she met a friend she’d act like a love deprived puppy. She was 15, we watched her go from our beautiful lil girl to a cranky old lady + we’re thankful for every snore, kiss, lack of personal space + attention we got from her. See you later Chunky Monkey 💔🌈

Tyler took me to my first hockey game last night + I had so much more fun than I thought I would! The crowd, the energy, the fast paced game, I loved it! Great seats, great time, the best company 🤍

Gosh, where do I start?! I am forever grateful + humbled by the era of Baker & Co. Today marks exactly one week of closing our doors for the last time + I don’t think I’ve slowed down long enough to process it all completely.
Today I wrote my second blog, An Open Love Letter to Baker & Co. It’s pretty vulnerable + totally out of my comfort zone. I just want everyone to know how truly grateful I am for a space that held me so tightly when I needed it the most.
To our customers - you guys are the real MVPs! I can’t believe the way you showed up day after day when we announced our closing. We went out on TOP! We closed out the B&Co era beating our sales by over $100k without a 4th quarter! What?!! You guys are unbelievable, THANK YOU!
To every person that took the time to tell me I was doing the right thing + offer reassurance, condolences + congratulations, THANK YOU. I needed it more than you’ll ever know. I’m still trying not to cry, haha! When does that part stop? I have so many emotions but the gratefulness + proudness are just at the very top. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything! 🤍

Today I turned in my keys + locked the door on the way out for the final time. What a true blessing the chapter of Baker & Co. has been 🤍 I can’t believe I got to live out a dream as beautiful as this + I don’t even mean just physically the store! Everyone that I’ve met along the way has been such a blessing. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, I am forever grateful!

And please don’t judge my no makeup, beyond tired look 🫠

It was all a dream ✨ we saw the New Journal space for rent on a Friday in May during Covid, toured the building on Monday + signed the lease by Tuesday.

I remember sitting in the parking lot across the street thinking how in the hell are we going to pull this off 🥹 I just remember thinking how cool it was going to be to have our name on that building! 🥰

The day before opening 🤍 We did SO much work to that space to turn it into Baker & Co!

Our socks were blown off that weekend! We couldn’t believe that we had pulled it off

Our style has definitely changed over the years! Always pivoting to stay on top!
