Before this kitchen had warm wood cabinets, busy granite and half the space it has now. It couldn’t keep up with this family of six. Our clients knew exactly what they needed: room for everyone, and a cooking zone that stayed out of the traffic path (kids running around).

Designed for life, refined for you.

We talk cabinet hardware all day, but “knurled” still trips us up every time 😅

As the evenings grow darker, we love scattering little lamps around the house. Their soft, warm glow beats harsh overhead lighting every time. Add a cozy spot on the couch, and how much better can it get?

This room is the perfect excuse to get the family together for breakfast before a busy day. The Sweet Soirée breakfast nook went from a rough sketch on paper to everyone’s favorite spot in the house.

We kept the bones, layered in millwork, stuck with one paint color, and that’s when the room clicked.

DESIGNER NOTES, Kaycee Conallen and Jen Drummond:

1. Trim around the windows
2. Low paneled wainscoting
3. Tongue-and-groove ceiling boards

In the endless world of millwork, cabinetry is just the beginning. Walls, ceilings, and furniture are all fair game. Outside of paint and wallpaper, there are other options to get you that rich and organic feeling within your home.

This Colonial-style home is getting a new front entry.

We documented the progress of building an arched portico, including a site visit where Kaycee took her pen to the original elevation to make sure the pendant light would have enough visibility from the street.

Around the back, installation is in full swing for an addition.

We tend to make dinner the meal we gather around, but breakfast deserves the same attention. In this updated space, accent lighting and abundant natural light make it easy to start your day on the right foot, so mornings feel a little easier and a lot brighter.
