Happy Thursday, y’all! Share Your Style is up on the blog just now. I couldn’t get time to finish the post yesterday though the set up was completed early Wednesday morning.
I moved 75 bricks out of our truck 🛻 before breakfast and after my morning walk. At 9:30 am, the installers from Nebraska Furniture Mart called and before 12noon they were done cutting the granite and putting in our gas cooktop!!!
So excited to have gas to cook with again after 10 years and burning half the food cooking on electric…
Then, Mr. Ethereal calls just after 4pm and says, our new clothes washer is ready for pick up. Yeah, as I have been handwashing in our kitchen sink for three weeks now. 🥳🎉
But, that meant I needed to remove a ton of demolition trash and the rest of the bricks from aforementioned truck to have room for another pallet… 🧱🧱🧱
So, now I had to move the rest of the “sleeve” of bricks before he got home… in the 108 degree heat… 🥵🔥🔥🔥☀️🧱 Total bricks = 132?? at 500 pounds. I was BEAT as well as burning up. But we have the new Speed Queen Home washer and four loads of laundry later, it works like a champ! 🧺💖😊
Today was light: No walk and I just had to pick up more scaffolding in Dallas. Easy peasy, at this point. The remodeling of the house eaves continues (Do come and read on my blog, link above.)
Anyway… Share Your Style is up and running through Monday at 6:00pm. See you there! 🌹
