The Artifact of the Week is here! ⚔️
If you've ever wanted to hold your very own silver Napoleonic coin featuring Napoleon's depiction here is your chance!

Napoleon is perhaps one of the most famous military generals ever with only the likes of Caesar, Alexander the Great and Gengis Khan coming anywhere close to his feats. Born on August 15, 1769 at Ajaccio, Corsica from minor nobility, Napoleon rose to fame during the French Revolution and after leading a series of successful military campaigns. With his amazing leadership and warfare skills, he won over the Italian Peninsula and became a national hero. In 1798, he led a military expedition to Egypt which was extremely successful. As his fame grew, together with his supporters Napoleon formed a new government called the Consulate and crowned himself emperor in 1804. After crowning himself as Emperor, Napoleon successfully waged war against various coalitions of European nations and expanded his empire. However, after a disastrous French invasion of Russia in 1812, Napoleon abdicated the throne two years later and was exiled to the island of Elba. In 1815, he briefly returned to power in his Hundred Days campaign. After a crushing defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, he abdicated once again and was exiled to the remote island of Saint Helena, where he died at 51.

These now centuries old coins that circulated across Napoleon’s ever expanding empire Premier Empire (First French Empire) are now made available to you neatly protected inside our elegant glass top leather cases ready to be displayed in your collections!

If you’ve ever wanted to own a genuine piece of Medieval Crusader history 🗡 , these original 12th century silver coins minted in the Crusader State of Antioch are just what you are looking for! 🏰

These silver deniers, also known as pennies, were issued in honor of King Bohemond III (1163-1201), who met Richard of England (Lion Heart) as well as Guy de Lusignan (Famously depicted by Marton Csokas in the 2005 Hollywood Blockbuster 'Kingdom of Heaven') during the siege of Acre in the summer of 1191. King Bohemond was also part of the Third Crusade, in which three European monarchs, including Richard of England, tried to take back the Holy Land from Saladin, from 1189 to 1192.

The coins offered were minted in Antioch, (In modern day South Eastern Turkey) captured in 1098 during the First Crusade. The obverse of the Denier depicts a chain-mail-wearing Crusader Knight wearing a helmet. On the reverse we read BOAMVNDVS (Latin name of King Bohemond) and ANTIOCHIA.

The Crusader coins you will receive will be of very similar size and quality as the ones shown in the pictures. A coin similar to the ones pictured is guaranteed or your money back! The display case included is openable so that you may easily handle and closely observe the artifact.
