A kitchen should feel collected, too!

Beautiful bread and serving boards are one of our favorite ways to add texture, warmth and character to a kitchen. Layer wood with marble and stone, mix shapes and sizes and leave them out for everyday.

Then when it’s time to entertain, they are ready for charcuterie, breads, cheeses and all the little things that make gathering around the table, special.

Beautiful enough to display. Practical enough to use. 🤎

It may still be hot outside- but look closely. Fall is coming.

Rich rusts, warm persimmons, beautiful greens and all those wonderful textures that make your home feel a little cozier.

We may not have sweater weather yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t begin bringing the feeling of fall into our homes.

Fall is coming, and we are ready for it!

Antiques remind us that beauty can endure.

I think that is one of the reasons I love old things so much.

An architectural fragment that was once part of a building.
A stack of luggage that once traveled somewhere long before it came to me. Old capitals, corbels, books, document boxes and pieces of houses, whose story I may never know.

I don’t believe a home has to filled with antiques to appreciate them. In fact, I love them most when they are mixed with things we live with today - photographs and things that tell our story.

They bring age to something new. Imperfection to something polished.
History to something modern.

A beautiful home isn’t about choosing old or new. It’s about choosing things you love. Mixing the old with the new. The imperfect with the polished and the things you just discovered with the things you’ve loved for years.

Because adding character is what tells your story.

There's nothing quite like the rich layered colors of Fall. Warm autumn color, oversized pumpkins, gorgeous florals, a little plaid and all those beautiful layers that make fall decorating so much fun.

So before you deck the halls...give fall its moment. These pieces are a great place to start!
