I tried to tell myself we weren't going to plant a garden this year but with this kind of help how could I not plant a few tomatoes and peppers and beets and onions and strawberries and green beans and herbs and just a few other things.
It's been 10 years of planting in my little urban garden, I look forward to seeing what we harvest this year!

Snow Day!
We're home today enjoying the late season snow. There will not be any events at the studio today. Mark your calendars for June 3rd when Come As You Are Club returns with collage night!

My peonies are opening early this year! I cant believe how early our spring has sprung in Denver. Usually I wait until after mother's day to plant but not this year, I'm going full garden mode this weekend.

We're back! After a short hiatus spring events kick off this week.

Join us for the first episode of Come As You Are Club on Wednesday March 4th 6pm-9pm. This monthly event is a low key, no pressure, hang with friends. We will have optional creative activities and games, a few snacks and you are welcome to bring your beverages of choice.

We look forward to kicking off this monthly event and the chance to hold space for community and connections.

This Friday!!
Join us November 14th between 5:30 and 9pm for the Bi-Annual Prism Artists Studio Tour. More than 50 local artists and makers open their studios and will show new work. And the Grows As It Goes Showroom will be hosting a special designer pop-up.
This event is free and open to the public - tell your friends! Support local art, and get a start on those holiday gifts.

Weekend recap:
We harvested the last of our tomatoes and peppers ahead of the 1st frost. It was a lovely weekend to be outside in the garden.
We made tomato soup from scratch and a turkey avocado b.l.t. to go with it! We also stored 4 bushels of hot green chile - we should have enough for the winter.
It was a lovely, slow paced weekend at home. Now we're heading into the week charged and ready to celebrate Halloween and V turns 6!!
