OCTOBER AT MAKESHIFT HAS ARRIVED. 👻🧶🎃
And apparently our October programming philosophy is: what if we simply did everything?
Spooky crafts? Obviously.
Tiny felt dragons? Yes.
Ghosts made out of lace? Absolutely.
Pierogi crafts ON International Pierogi Day?! 🥟
Learning to play D&D? 🎲
A Swiftie night? 💜
Bingo AND karaoke?
Samhain? 🌙
An actual midnight book release party?!?!
HELL YEAH
We’re bringing you Creepy Cross Stitched Canvas, Spooky Bargello, Lace Ghost Appliqué, Crocheted Cauldron Coasters, Halloween Sugar Cookie Punch Needle, Hocus Pocus Cross Stitch, Cross Stitched Runes, Felt Dragon Familiars, Make Your Own Felt Patches and SO MUCH MORE.
Plus, we’re continuing our journey around the Wheel of the Year with our Samhain Altar Talisman + Tarot Reading, celebrating another Swiftie Monthly Cross Stitch, leveling up our Sashiko skills, making the cutest knotted gemstone necklaces, and introducing a brand-new Embroidered Hand Lettering class just in time to start making handmade holiday gifts.
And because Makeshift is about a whole lot more than taking classes, October is PACKED with reasons to just come hang out: WIP Wednesdays, BYO Craft Hours, Sunday Service, Craft-A-Long Meet Ups, Sippin’ & Stitchin’, Bingo Night, Karaoke Night, Freestyle Felt Bar, Freestyle Junk Journaling and more.
AND THEN THERE’S OCTOBER 26. 🪩📚✨
The Dreamers Gala: our ACOTAR Book 6 ACTUAL Midnight Release Party.
We are partying all night and putting that book in your hands at midnight. Just like the good ol’ days!
October ends exactly how it should: celebrating Samhain + Halloween weekend and squeezing in a few more crafts before we close early on Halloween. 🎃
Basically, if your ideal October involves ghosts, witches, yarn, books, crafts, friendship bracelets, tarot, D&D, pierogies, emo music and an unreasonable number of tiny handmade objects...
we made this calendar for you.
🗓️ OCTOBER WORKSHOPS + EVENTS OPEN FOR BOOKING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 AT 10AM!
Set your alarms. Send this to your craft buddy. Start making your list.
👻 See you for spooky season at Makeshift.
