It’s engagement season! Now that you have found the ONE, it’s time to find your florist. Here’s a few tips to get started.

Set a floral budget. It doesn’t have to be an exact number, but it should be an overall range that you are comfortable with, and fits into your overall wedding budget. *Please do not base your budget off wedding blogs or google. They are wildly outdated and set false expectations. Don’t worry, if you’re unsure, let us know when you inquire. I’m here to help and will advise you on how to best use your budget to make the most visual impact.

Pick your florist because you love their design style. Find an artist who is just excited about your special day as you are! It's important to vibeee together! It is one of the most important things I look for when meeting clients. I put my heart into each design. To be in love with the project and inspired by my clients makes the entire experience so much more special!

Trust your florist! (Because we are also trusting you!) A florist is an artist working with a botanical medium. Give them a color palette and a vibe and let them run with it! Listen to their advice and trust that your florist will deliver on your dreams!

These mums from deserve their own spotlight. They are so stunning I could stare at them all day!
I'm so proud to be able to share seasonal blooms from local farms with all of you! Frankly, I'm a little spoiled to be able to work with them. The colors are unlike anything I have seen before! Thank you for bringing all of us together.
Little Hollow Flowers says it best that these flowers give us a chance to really "celebrate the seasons with an ever-changing array of blooms and botanicals."
They remind us the important of celebrating the seasons, especially when we get to live in a place as beautiful and ever changing as Colorado.

I just want to take a moment to look at one of my favorite dahlias we grew this season!
Surprise they're Cafe au Lait dahlias!
We ordered these as tubers from . They are simply stunning! I can't take my eyes off the subtle undertones in the petals. ✨ It allowed us the freedom to use them in both muted and brightly colored weddings.

I know I haven’t properly introduced myself yet. To be honest I have been a little afraid of my story. I let imposter syndrome get the better of me. oops. Looking back over the last couple years I am in awe of the transformation, and blissful in how much beauty we brought to so many people’s lives. It’s been scary, but Plantus Potum has been the most wonderful, and unexpected journey.

Plantus Potum (plant•us / po•tum) :is a play on botanical nomenclature meaning, “plants drink.” 🥂

Plantus Potum started as a planty-crafty subscription box during the pandemic, and soon moved into small retail shop in Denver, to be a place to find beauty in plants and flowers. Shortly after, I got the opportunity to design my first wedding. I was hooked! Mmmm, more like obsessed, and Plantus Potum evolved into a multidisciplinary floral design studio.

Each new stage of transformation surprises and scares me. I am eager to navigate the new territories of my budding business, but deep down I have been so nervous to take the stage on social media. Especially as I’ve been trying to discover what the heck it is we do.

Looking back, I see how beautiful this journey has been. I have had the opportunity to work with amazing people to bring their events and large-scale floral installations to life. I can’t possibly imagine a different path now.

It’s time to invite you in on this journey with me! So, without further ado.

I’m the owner and lead designer of Plantus Potum. I’m a professional installation artist who found my medium in flowers. I want to offer you a botanical | floral experience influenced by the opulence of Dutch still life paintings, inspired by the quirks of nature, and rooted in the beauty of the moment. Take some time with me to indulge in luxurious textures, and sentimental details. Together we’ll find serenity in carefully curated flowers, and embrace allll the things go into creating these magical arrangements.
