The vision begins here ✨

For The Ellis Project primary bathroom, we’re leaning into a palette of warm wood tones, soft neutrals, natural stone, and aged brass details — creating a space that feels both timeless and restorative.

Thoughtfully layered, quietly elevated, and designed to bring a sense of calm to everyday routines.

Stay tuned for the final reveal, coming soon! 🤩

It’s one of those decisions that seems small… but changes everything. ✨

We’re taking you behind the scenes at The Preserve Project with Jackie and Brei, narrowing in on grout selections across multiple spaces.

Tone, contrast, undertone — even a slight shift can completely change how tile reads once it’s installed. This is the kind of detail that quietly shapes the overall feel of a room, without ever calling attention to itself.

And it’s where thoughtful design and on-site collaboration really matter — making sure every choice aligns before anything is set in place.

We’re so grateful to be working alongside to bring this one to life!

…busy shopping for our clients! 🙌

Come along as we spend the afternoon at sourcing pieces that bring warmth, texture, and a little personality into the homes we’re designing — and maybe finding a few things we couldn’t leave behind for ourselves.

This part of the process is equal parts intention and instinct… layering in those finishing touches that make a space feel collected, lived-in, and truly complete.

Also never passing up a chance to support a beautiful local shop in Greenwood Village 🫶

This is where comfort meets foresight.

Wrapping up our electrical walk-through at the Preserve Project with one of our electrician’s favorite upgrades — in-floor heating.

Especially in spaces with ceramic or stone tile, it’s one of those details you don’t fully appreciate… until you do.

Warm floors on cold mornings, added comfort in the evenings — a small shift that changes how the space feels every day.

It’s also a great example of thinking ahead. Features like this require planning early on (and making sure your electrical panel can support it), but when it’s possible, it’s a meaningful upgrade that our clients love long after the project is complete.

Not every detail is visible — but the best ones are felt.

Behold a ‘before,’ with a beautiful vision taking shape ☁️

This bathroom is ready for a thoughtful transformation — one that brings together layered blues, rich wood tones, soft neutrals, and warm brass accents.

The goal isn’t just to update what’s there… it’s to create a space that feels calm, cohesive, and quietly elevated — something that works beautifully day to day and still feels like a retreat.

These early stages are where everything begins — where we look past what is and start shaping what could be.

We can’t wait to bring this one to life. 🌿

Back on site at our Preserve Project, we’re walking through something that often gets overlooked — switch placement and layered lighting.

In a space like a kitchen, it’s not just about having enough light… it’s about having the right light for what you’re doing.

Overhead lighting for general use.
Under cabinet lighting for tasks and softer moments.
Switches placed exactly where you need them — without having to think twice.

These are the details that make a home feel intuitive. Where everything works the way it should, without extra effort.

It’s not complicated — but it is considered. And that’s what makes all the difference.

If these walls could talk, we’d ask — what were you like in the ‘90s?

This bathroom: doing the most… in all the wrong ways 😅

From the finishes to the layout, spaces like this are a reminder of how much design (and how we live) has evolved — and how impactful a thoughtful renovation can be.

Because it’s not just about updating what’s outdated… it’s about creating something that feels calm, cohesive, and built for the way you actually live today.

Follow along to see what this primary bathroom becomes. ✨
