We’re back with Denver Life Magazine for their Fall Show Home, and this time we had the honor of taking on the Great Room! 🤎✨
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at setup day—the part where the vision starts coming to life, the room is full of boxes, we’re moving things around 100 times, and somehow it all comes together. 😂
This Great Room is all about layers, warmth, sophistication, and creating a space that feels elevated but still makes you want to sit down, get comfortable, and stay awhile.

Boring basement bath? Not anymore. 😏✨

This guest bath went from basic and forgotten to a space that absolutely deserves to be seen.

We brought in the details, the drama, and just the right amount of personality to turn this once-overlooked bathroom into a guest bath that feels elevated, intentional, and anything but boring.

Because around here, we don’t believe in “it’s just the basement.” 😉

From overlooked to ohhh, now we’re talking. ✨
This bar
started as one of those spaces that was just….. there.

But you know me, I don’t believe in wasted spaces.

As part of a much larger wholehome project, we completely reimagined this area from the initial design to a full functioning coffee bar by day and wet bar for entertaining by night.

Every detail had a purpose: beautiful, functional, layered, and made to feel like it had always belonged in the home.

We designed it. We built it. We brought it to life

You asked and we answered, but let’s be real—around here we make our own rules. Sometimes the answer really is both, and sometimes the answer is neither.

Take design for instance. Sometimes the goal is to blend two distinct styles, bringing together the best of both worlds through layered textures and contrasting finishes, while other times the right move is throwing out the rulebook altogether for something completely unexpected.

Because when your primary suite is this stunning it deserves its own grand entrance. ✨️

For this transformation, we layered rich textures, unique wallpaper, custom brass hardware, and statement lighting to ensure the primary suite sets a completely elevated tone from the moment you step inside.

We work HARD around here, but we also believe in having fun, laughing a lot, and putting a whole lot of love into everything we do. ♥️

I seriously don’t know how I got so lucky to be surrounded by this amazing group of humans. They work hard, they show up, they make me laugh, and somehow they put up with all of my crazy ideas. 😂

Poonams by Design isn’t just a team. It’s one big family. And I’m beyond grateful for every single person who is a part of it. 🥹♥️✨
