This Summer has been packed full of the most delightful clients and projects, but I took a pause last week for family vacation time in British Columbia. The design inspiration that comes from exploring new places is creative gold, and The Butchart Gardens delivered. What a magnificent place! Can’t wait to bring new ideas to my work (and new plants to my garden)!

May-hem is in full effect, so this post is coming late night. As it turns out, that’s perfect timing for this speakeasy basement lounge. That staircase transports you in a magnificent way — the lighting effects wow, the color drenching immerses you, the hidden bookshelf door intrigues, and the liquor display and wine closet…well, it’s all the stuff of dreams. Cheers to that. 🥂

Waaaaay overdue for wallcovering Wednesday, but here’s proof that we’re busy bringing beautiful spaces to life. I’ll admit, when I entered the home design world, I was a wallpaper skeptic. It didn’t take me long to come around, and it’s not hard to see why.

You can pick one, two, or all three: color, pattern, texture.

Whether it’s nature references, metallics, grasscloth, or geometrics, wallpaper is a massive opportunity to personalize your space to feel just exactly how you want it to feel.

And, just in, I now have two new window covering lines to finish off the windows with as much love and attention as your walls!
