Today we pause to remember those who served, sacrificed, and will never be forgotten. Their courage, strength, and love for this country gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day. A big thank you to the Des Moines Heritage Trust for recognition received at the 2026 Des Moines Historic Preservation Awards Dinner held 5/14/26. DEV Partners was awarded the Commercial Project of the Year - Under 10,000 SF. In attendance were also team members from design, SSOE, and construction, SHYFT. What makes it more special is that the building is the office for all three of these companies! If you haven’t had a chance to see it, stop by for a tour!

As spring gives way to the start of summer, the weather has been very cooperative and the exteriors at Parkway Heights Rowhomes in Creston have undergone big changes in the last 30 days! Final grade, parking lots, sidewalks, completion of siding, and exterior painting are all moving along. Interiors are tracking ahead of schedule, and we are hopefully for an early project completion! We have a great team working on this project and we look forward to sharing the finished product soon!

SHYFT was honored to build the Forest Ave Rowhomes project in the Drake neighborhood. Brickworks Supply Center nominated the project for an appreciation award to the Masonry Institute of Iowa, and it won! SSOE architects were in attendance to accept awards on behalf of DEV Partners (Owner) and SSOE (Designer). Our masonry subcontractor on the project was United Masonry.

Update on our project for UA Station, the current status of the project is 1st floor wall framing is completed. Plumbing rough installation is in progress. Sitework is ongoing to include relocating the overhead powerlines that parallel University.

Expected project completion date is Fall 2026
