The primary goal of this business endeavor is to offer interior design services to every home owner by utilizing a unique pricing structure. This structure makes it affordable for anyone needing help with making decisions concerning their home, whether it is choosing colors for one room or an entire house, Elizabeth Erin Designs can do as much, or as little as the client needs. Jodi is happily married and the mother of beautiful twin girls - Hanna Elizabeth and Sydney Erin. We’re looking for additional remote contract design support at
Elizabeth Erin Designs !

This is a paid, remote 1099 contract opportunity offered on an
as-needed basis. The workload may vary from 0–20 hours per week
depending on our current project needs.

Areas of support may include:

• Space planning and furniture layouts
• Floor plans and corresponding keys
• Demolition, lighting and wall-finish plans
• Interior elevations
• Cabinetry and built-in drawings
• Furniture, lighting and finish specifications
• 3D modeling and renderings
• Presentation and project-document support
• Assisting with finish selections as needed

Strong experience using Chief Architect Premier is especially
valuable, along with residential interior design experience. We may
also consider separating the technical drawing responsibilities from
the design-assistant responsibilities.

This is a remote opportunity with a flexible schedule.

A two-year client nightmare…
Runaway cabinet vendors.

A $26,000 glazing mistake.

Furniture dumped into the ocean.

Mold.

Miscommunication.

And a project that somehow kept getting more complicated.

This project had just about everything that could go wrong.

But the biggest lesson wasn’t about the disasters.

It was about what should have been established from the beginning: clear expectations, communication, boundaries, budgets, and a shared vision.

Those lessons became part of the foundation for my Designing in 5D process and how I approach client relationships today.

Because great design isn’t just about creating a beautiful space.

It’s about creating a better path to get there.
