We specialize in crafting exceptional designs for residential, commercial, and vacation rental design. Jodi Koch Peterman has a passion for design. It all began at the age of four when Jodi would “borrow” scraps of fabric from her grandmother’s workroom to decorate her doll house. Barbie just couldn’t make up her mind about the coordinating bedding and accessories! Since moving out of the city, ge

tting married and having twins, Jodi’s career has taken many turns. In 2001 she and her family moved to Hillsborough, NJ. In 2003, Jodi saw an opportunity to further her career in Interior Design, so she took it and hasn’t looked back since. In early 2007, she assumed full ownership of the company and established Elizabeth Erin Designs. Spring is where strong projects begin to take shape. 🌿

Plans get organized. Selections align. Direction becomes clear.

Some projects move straight into full design, while others begin with a Designer Property Vision—helping you fully understand the potential before committing.

Either way, it all starts with clarity.

This episode is a different kind of conversation — and an important one.

I sat down with Sarah Trop to talk about something many families don’t expect to face, yet it can happen quickly and quietly: online grooming and trafficking awareness.

Her story is real, personal, and eye-opening — and a powerful reminder that these situations don’t only happen “somewhere else.” They can affect families who are loving, present, and involved.

This isn’t about fear. It’s about awareness, open communication, and creating strong connections with the people we care about most.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, mentor, or simply someone who cares about the next generation, this is a conversation worth hearing.

If early fall updates are your goal, now is the time to stop circling the project and get clear on the direction.

That could mean moving straight into full design, or starting with a Designer Property Vision to fully understand the opportunity before committing.

Either way, clarity now saves time—and protects your investment—later.

This episode is a different kind of conversation — and an important one.

I sat down with Sarah Trop to talk about something many families don’t realize can happen so quickly: online grooming and trafficking awareness.

What she shares is real, personal, and incredibly eye-opening. And one of the biggest takeaways is this — these situations don’t just happen “somewhere else” or to “other families.” They can happen in loving, attentive homes too.

This isn’t about creating fear. It’s about creating awareness.
It’s about building trust with our kids, having open conversations, and surrounding them with the right support systems before something becomes a crisis.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, mentor, or someone who cares deeply about the next generation, this is a conversation worth listening to.

🤝 Builder collaboration is strongest when everyone is aligned from the beginning.

Clear selections, clear drawings, and clear expectations create a smoother process—and a more elevated result.

That’s how projects stay efficient from start to finish.

✨ Phase 2 in Fort Walton is a great example of what happens when documentation leads the design process.

Clean transitions, intentional millwork, and layered materials all come together because every detail was planned in advance—not decided along the way.

That level of cohesion doesn’t happen by accident. It starts in the design phase.

The right property always gives you clues.

Light.
Orientation.
Flow.
Structure.

The difference is knowing how to interpret those clues before committing to updates that don’t fully support the space.

That’s where the Designer Property Vision and full design planning come in—helping you see what’s possible and make decisions with clarity from the start.

🎙️ New Episode Alert

Veronique Ory joins Designing in 5D to share her journey from burnout in NYC to finding clarity and transformation through yoga.

We explore:
• Movement as emotional release & nervous system regulation
• Slowing down as the doorway to clarity
• How intention shapes your life and your home
• Grounding practices when life feels chaotic

Whether you’re designing a home or designing your life, the same principle applies: when you slow down enough to listen, everything starts to align.
