I have a lot to say about styling bookshelves. So let’s take baby steps! FIRST - use books. Amazon, Homegoods, eBay, and local shops always have a great selection of hardcover “coffee table” books that don’t cost a fortune. It adds all sort of refinement to BOOKshelves. Classic and timeless.

To put it simply:
* eggshell is typically best for walls
* semi-gloss for trim
