🌟 Small Business Saturday is November 29th! 🌟
As we get closer, I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit of what many people don’t realize about small businesses.
When we open our doors, we do it with our own money, our own hands, and our whole hearts. We work our butts off to turn a vision into something real—something our community can enjoy. Unlike big corporations and franchises, we don’t have the same advantages:
• Corporations have huge budgets; we have whatever we can personally afford.
• They have entire marketing and social media teams; we’re over here DIY-ing our posts between working.
• They can pay top-tier wages and hire big teams; small businesses stretch every dollar just to keep the lights on.
• Big brands have corporate safety nets; small businesses are the safety net, doing everything ourselves and hoping each month balances out.
Most small business owners don’t take a paycheck for months—sometimes even a year—because we pour everything back into keeping our dream alive.
And here’s something many don’t realize:
When someone leaves a harsh review or talks badly about us without coming to us first to let us make it right, it doesn’t just hurt the business… it hurts the person behind it. We feel it. We care deeply. We want to fix it.
But the beautiful side is this:
✨ When you choose to shop small, you’re supporting real people in your community—not a CEO with billions already in the bank.
✨ A kind review, a positive comment, or even a “this was great!” absolutely makes our day.
✨ Every purchase, every visit, every shout-out genuinely matters.
✨ Small businesses bring personality, creativity, heart, and uniqueness to a community.
✨ We support local schools, events, charities, and other small businesses.
✨ We create jobs right here at home, keeping your dollars local instead of sending them off to a corporate headquarters states away.
So as Small Business Saturday approaches, thank you for choosing to shop small, love local, and support the people who put everything they have into serving this community. ❤️
Your support doesn’t just help a business stay open—it helps a dream stay alive.
