Okayyyy, I know we’ve been a little MIA over here lately 🤍🚗

We packed up for a road trip to Kansas and have been soaking up every minute of it! We’re still away until Sunday, but I couldn’t resist sharing a few photos from the trip so far — especially our stop at John Mark’s. Safe to say I found plenty of inspiration along the way ✨

This was my very first wedding. 🤍

Long before Southern Oak Designs was ever a business, it was just me and my mom… DIY’ing every little detail we could dream up.

We didn’t have a huge budget, but we had vision, determination, and a whole lot of love poured into every piece. Looking back now, I think that’s where my passion for weddings truly began.

There’s something so special about creating a day that feels personal, meaningful, and beautiful — even with limited resources.

Now years later, I still carry that same heart into every wedding I touch. ✨
