Jes Pondering at how blessed of God we are in South Georgia. Natural and
National scale disasters have hit us in 2024 with Hurricane Helene in Southeast Georgia. One very sad death in the millions or billions of dollars of destruction. I lived it, walked in , rode through and worked through it. It was of literal war zone magnitude. Much loss of properties, Yet God protected people.
2026 has southeast Georgia going through the two largest wildfires battling in the USA at this time. Much loss of properties, Yet God has spared lives.
I have seen Christian churches, schools, organizations and individuals rise up from their own destruction and reach out helping hands.

There are several good organized and trustworthy organizations you can contribute to and/or put your boots on the ground with. Be careful who you send money to. Vet them.
This need is going to go on for MONTHS.

It's a group of Brantley,Tift, Ben Hill, Coffee and Glynn Counties volunteers. It's a great ongoing project.

Holy Week Services are again hosted at First Methodist Church at 12:00 daily this week.

Day's Glass Service will be monitoring the weather in the morning. We will be open as soon as weather permits.
Hopefully, prayerfully, the weather will not be as radar models are suggesting.
Stay diligent and safe. Pray for first responders that may have calls to service in the morning.
