Permanently closed.

Each of our pots are individually made and hand decorated with either a traditional or country design, and then fired in a gas kiln to 2,300°F. The size and shape of our pieces reflect the individuality of each potter ... just as the interpretation of a design reflects the individuality of each decorator. The salt-glaze finish results from the vaporiz-ation of rock salt in the kiln during the fina

l stage of firing. The charm of the ware is that each pot has its own individual character. Variations in color and design are desirable and sought after by collectors. In any one firing the color of pottery may vary from grey to brown with a smooth or orange peel glaze. Salmon Falls Stoneware is lead free and safe to put in the microwave and and the dishwasher. It is great for baking and other everyday uses. Enjoy ... then pass it along to the next generation. We hope that if you are in the area, you'll stop by and and see our pottery up close!

Last Kiln

With the imminent closing of Salmon Falls Stoneware in Dover, NH, the final kilns are being fired and prepped. Our last day of sales will be this Thursday, February 19th, 2026.

We do have pots that are marked or decorated Last Kiln. To all of our loyal salt-glaze collectors and lovers, we are going to let you in on a little secret. The pots that are stamped or decorated as the Last Kiln are actually coming out of the last three kilns. Because of this, the pots that say Last Kiln will start coming into the store this Friday February 13, 2026, and more will be coming in over the weekend and into next week.

Since there are a limited number of Last-Kiln pots, we are allowing only one Last-Kiln pot per customer. Please be respectful of this policy.

Thank you for your continued patronage over the years.
