The close of another wonderful day 😊
The farm may be at the end of season, but the antique store is just getting good. Ik you’re all dying for it to open and we’re taking our sweet time. If you don’t know we have regular military jobs during most of the week. That’s my bad for not sharing 😬 I’ll try to pick it up a bit. Just know that are moving forward as best we can. Y’all will be the first to know opening date!

All the swizzle sticks you could ask for! 🤣 Wait- did you ask for them?
When Steve told me he bought these I thought he was crazy. Then I spent an hour (or at least it felt like it) going through them and finding so many different ones. Each time I found one I liked it spurred me on the keep going.
Definitely a conversation piece! There’s local ones from businesses gone by, humorous gems, and oddballs.
To all my plant friends- stick them in plant pots for some fun 😉 Plants are the answer to everything!

I didn’t get anywhere near as many things done in the yard as I wanted to this year, but I can see the progress. As I walk around outside it makes me sad to know that it’s over until next spring, while also making me happy for all that I have accomplished thus far.
My big dream is to create a cut flower garden. You all could come and cut your own. I would love to see all the happy faces as they come out of the field carrying overflowing buckets of colorful blooms.
I will be walking the property and tinkering and designing in my mind all winter. This place has so much potential and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Creepy or cool?? We found these antique porcelain dolls at an estate sale and I just had to get them. I don’t even like dolls, but these are cool because they’re porcelain and poseable. The back of the heads are cut out so you can add hair. Made in Paris 1982 & 1984. ‘82 still has the protective foam! Now what to do with them 🤔
