Just stocked some new things today. Next week will be doing a spring cleaning on my booth and making room for some more new items for the big sale coming up. The malls 14 yr anniversary sale, April 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th. This is a mandatory sale of at least 10% for all vendors. Usually thurs, Fri, sat, Sunday - but with Easter on Sunday it will start a day earlier. Mall is closed on Easter.

New cans added to my booth yesterday. These are all in very good shape.

Just a little history….they apparently started producing chips in the 1920’s. The factory was located off Richland Ave in West York which is currently Bickel’s Snacks. I worked there from 1980 until 1999 when it closed. York Snacks was also connected to Bon Ton.
Hanover Foods purchased Bickel’s in 1998 and then also purchased Bon Ton and York Snacks in 2000, and consolidated all of them into Bickel’s Snack Foods Inc. The two links below are interesting if you have an interest in reading more. The El-Ge also changed hands over the years and I have never seen another of this can, so not a very common one. The cardboard Bon Ton are hard to find too as they can deteriate and mold. Good local collectible pieces. Just thinning out my collection.

I am vendor #62, 2nd booth on the left by the check out counter and these are photo clips of what you might find in my booth currently. You could possibly find something new to add to a collection, pieces to use for decoration, something to incorporate into a crafty project, or simply items to use in everyday life.

The big holiday sale is still on 12/6 & 12/7 and I am offering 10% except for items marked firm. The entire mall has at least 10%, but many are more. 12/6 hours are 9am-6pm, 12/7 10am-5pm. Happy shopping if you can stop by! I briefly walked through myself and lots of good items can be found.

Stop in and visit The Dover Antique Mall this weekend for one of their big sales. Thursday, 10-5, Friday & Saturday, 9-6, Sunday, 10-5.

Every booth will have at least 10% off, and many offer much more.

Vendors have been busy adding new stock and cleaning. Lot’s of people travel in from out of town for these sales.

I will be running 10% and the crafty items are usually firm, but some are discounted and you will also find sale pcs that will get an additional 10%. You just have to be willing to look because there is a lot of stock in small spaces.

Some new items added today. Nice vintage pennants and lots of children’s books (2 new box lots).

If you frame artwork or photographs there are two mat cutters. The smaller one I bought new and never used and the larger one I bought at auction but that looks like never used either.

I did it again!!! Forgot to take pictures!

Well, just wanted to let anyone interested know that the large batch of dishcloths and another batch of cast iron pan handle covers are now in stock.

I am a bit of a perfectionist and while finishing off the dishcloths I’m seeing little imperfections on some of them. Not that it really matters because they are just washing dishes, but it does bother ME. Most of them are done while traveling or watching TV. (I might have dozed off on some of them:)
