Ryatt is the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. šŸ’™šŸ¾

This almost 4-year-old sweetheart is one big hunk of love with the happiest smile and the gentlest soul. From making new friends at Pet Supplies Plus to getting spoiled at Dover Meineke and charming everyone at Tri City Subaru, Ryatt spent the day soaking up pets, treats, sunshine, and all the love he could get.

He rides great in the car, loves a good adventure, and somehow manages to be both a playful goofball and a 70 lb lap dog. Ryatt is affectionate, social, treat motivated, and happiest when heā€™s close to his people. Heā€™s great with other dogs, did amazing meeting everyone throughout the day, and would make the perfect patio buddy this summer. ā˜€ļø

One thing is for sureā€¦ everyone who meets Ryatt falls in love with him. šŸ’™

Beau went home! šŸ¾ā™„ļø

If Beau does not find a foster-based rescue or adopter by Friday, May 15th, humane euthanasia will be the outcome.

I met Beau while doing a Take Me Home Tuesday field trip through Maui Humane Society, and after spending time with him outside of the shelter, I knew there was so much more to him than the stress behaviors being seen in the kennel environment.

Like many dogs struggling with long-term shelter stress, Beau could become overstimulated and mouthy at times when his excitement and stress levels were high. But overall, what I experienced was a dog who was genuinely happy to be out in the world.

Outside of the shelter, Beau was affectionate, goofy, playful, eager to connect, and soaking up every bit of freedom and attention he could get.

After 193 days in the shelter and multiple failed placements, the environment is taking a serious toll on him. But Beau is not hopeless. He needs stability, structure, patience, and the chance to decompress in the right environment.

Some dogs just have a way of finding their way into your heartā€¦ and Beanstalk is one of them. šŸ’™šŸ¾

This 4-year-old sweetheart came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Washington, DC and from the moment you meet him, you can feel how special he is. Heā€™s gentle, loving, and so deeply connected to his people.

Beanstalk walks beautifully on a leash, rides great in the car, and is happiest just being by your side whether thatā€™s on a long walk by the water, out running errands, or curled up at home for snuggles.

He carries a few quiet reminders of his past, but what stands out so much more is who he is today: trusting, affectionate, and full of love. He doesnā€™t dwell on where heā€™s been he just leans into the people around him and chooses connection every time.

A huge thank you to the Newington Police Department , PetSmart, and Laney & Lu for welcoming Beanstalk with so much kindnessā€¦ moments like these make such a difference for dogs like him. šŸ’™

He does great with other dogs, has done amazing at busy adoption events, and would make the perfect patio companion this season. At just under 50 lbs, heā€™s the perfect size for both adventure and downtime.

Some dogs just need a little timeā€¦ and then they love you with everything they have. šŸ’™šŸ¾

Meet String Bean.

This 2.5-year-old sweetheart may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate, goofy, snuggly personality shines through in the best way. From a peaceful walk by the bay to exploring the Live Freely Market and trying his very first ice cream of the season (which he loved), Bean showed just how much joy he has to give.

Heā€™s food-motivated, gentle taking treats, great in the car, and loves other dogsā€¦ heā€™s part of the K9 Chaos Bark Break program, where he gets enrichment and social time through doggy daycare and absolutely thrives. Bean would do best in an adult-only home that will give him the patience and love he needs to keep building confidence.

KONG HAS BEEN ADOPTED! ā™„ļø

Kong is the kind of dog who makes every day betterā€¦ no questions asked.

This 1.5-year-old bundle of joy is equal parts social butterfly and easygoing best friend. From making friends at Dover Meineke to charming everyone at Wentworth Greenhouse, Kong proved that wherever he goesā€¦ people (and dogs) love him.

Heā€™s gentle taking treats, great on leash, a perfect passenger in the car, and happiest just being out in the world with his people. And when the day winds down? Heā€™s just as happy snuggled up at home with his favorite toy.

At just under 50 lbs, Kong is the perfect size for adventure and couch time and heā€™d love a home with another dog after a successful meet & greet.

Meet Beau šŸŒŗšŸ¾

This two-year-old sweetheart stole my heart during a Maui edition of Take Me Home Tuesday and he could steal yours too.

Through the incredible Beach Buddies program at , visitors can take adoptable dogs out on real adventures. Giving them a break from the shelter and a chance to be seen for who they truly are.

Beau spent the day exploring the Wailea Beach Trail, making friends everywhere he went, and soaking up every bit of love (even in the rain ā˜”ļø). From beach walks to lunch at , he proved just how social, affectionate, and adaptable he is.

Heā€™s playful, food-motivated, knows sit, takes treats gently, and loves a good stuffy. Beau could live with other dogs and settles in quickly wherever he goesā€¦ he truly just wants to be where the people are. šŸ’™

Some dogs just have a way of stealing every heart in the room ā€” Rambo is one of them. šŸ’™

This 100-lb Rottweiler love bug spent the day showing everyone exactly why big dogs have the biggest hearts.

From handing out kisses at the Moran tugboats to meeting firefighters at Station 4, Rambo charmed everyone he met.

After a long day of work, he picked out a pizza treat and a new stuffy at PetSmart before ending the day with snowy snuggles.

Rambo is 7 years young, rides great in the car, walks beautifully on leash, and has previously lived with cats, dogs, and children. Heā€™s loyal, affectionate, and truly just wants to be close to his people.

He came to the shelter through no fault of his own and deserves a loving forever home.

CARTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Carter is the kind of dog whose tail never stops wagging and neither will your heart once you meet him. šŸ’™

This one-year-old sweetheart is playful, affectionate, and happiest when heā€™s surrounded by people who want to love on him.

From making friends at Confident Med Spa in Seabrook, to picking out treats and a new stuffy at PetSmart, to putting in a full shift of greetings at Meineke, Carter charmed everyone he met. Heā€™s social, food-motivated, walks beautifully on a leash, and after a day of adventures, heā€™s more than ready for snuggles.

Carter rides great in the car, knows his sit, and is eager to keep learning. Heā€™s dog-social and could live with another dog after a successful meet and greet. At just under 50 lbs, heā€™s truly the whole package.
