Meet the actual “Mabeline Georgia”. Yep! That’s right!! I created my business name after our cat!

HOME by Mabeline Georgia was started after I had staged a family member’s home for sale.

I think back to that job and realized now how much fun we had cleaning out, redesigning and bringing in some great pieces to showcase what the home had to offer to potential buyers.

The moment I realized THIS was what I wanted to do was when the Realtor asked if I would join her team. I was stunned! Then I started to think, “wait, why wouldn’t she ask”, right?? She came in, evaluated the home and my team of friends and family did the rest! The job for her was so easy!

Since the sale of that home went through before it even hit the MLS with several offers in a bidding war, I’ve been dreaming of this life.

I started asking myself, “how would I quit my job as a corporate training producer in a company I had been a part of for 20 years to do something I loved even more”? My husband looked at me and said, you picked “NOW” to do this?!!

I am a wife, new mom and live in a crazy home that not only occupies our little family but is home to two dogs and two cats and has been a money pit of a remodel inside and out since we moved in the very same week our son was born in 2019. Timing is everything!!

After a full gut on the primary first two floors, we have new flooring throughout, new walls, siding, roof, windows, garage door, front walkway including a retaining wall, electric, plumbing, appliances and cabinets. We still need a paved driveway, master bathroom and guest bathroom, powder room, an addition of laundry/mud room and loft, counters, doors… you name it, we need it!

Every morning since I decided to do this, I have to say, “Every day… live the life you’ve imagined”. I’ve built up the courage to make this dream a reality and hope she flies well!! I love obsessing over paint swatches, outside garden things, furniture, home décor and of course, drinking plenty of coffee while I strategize each day!
