Chasing Sunshine

Directions

Chasing Sunshine DIY home decor and repurposed furniture. I have always had an interest in creating one of a kind home decor pieces. I hope you enjoy my creations!

A hobby and love for home decor has ignited my passion for refurbishing old furniture. I want to share my passion for repurposing what someone might see as unusable to create a one of a kind piece for another to treasure in their home!

A little peek around Chasing Sunshine 🩵☀️

I may be slightly biased, but Chasing Sunshine is looking pretty darn cute right now. 😉
Vintage, fall, quirky, colorful — basically a little bit of everything I can’t resist bringing home. 😂☀️

Well...I did it again! 🤦‍♀️😂
A few weeks ago I asked everyone to help me choose a color for this little jelly cabinet...
And then...I ignored every single option I gave you. 🤣🤣

Sometimes a piece has a mind of its own, and this one kept telling me it wanted to be Cast Iron with a warm stained wood top.
After lots of cleaning, sanding, painting, top coating, and WAY too much time spent on the hardware 😅...here's the final result!

I think it was worth the extra effort. 🖤🤎
Before ➡️ After

So...be honest...
Did I make the right choice? 👇🩵☀️
