It’s Saturday and that means we’re at the Downingtown Farmer’s Market until 1pm. The weather is glorious so come on out and get some fresh local flowers. And visit the other vendors for great food, produce, cheeses and handcrafted item.

We all know kale is a very nutritious vegetable. But did you know there is also a beautiful ornamental kale that flowers in the late fall when other flowers are winding down? There are several varieties including ruffled and one that looks like feathers. We planted hundreds this week and can’t wait to use them in late fall bouquets.
