Commercial kitchens are hot, wet and never stop, so the floor has to keep up. 🔥

Just finishing up in Palm Beach, our crew installed a Dur-A-Flex urethane cement floor system in the kitchen hallway and bakery. We did a full grind, heavy primer and body coat, then a silica broadcast and a topcoat that seals in the aggregate, with integral cove base at the walls. We worked night shifts so the restaurant could keep serving.

Urethane cement stands up to hot water, grease, cleaning chemicals and thermal shock, which are the things that destroy ordinary epoxy in a restaurant kitchen.

This is the inside of The Casablanca of Wildwood, a 54-unit apartment community we’re painting from the clubhouse floors to the breezeway ceilings. We spray the doors and trim in place in PPG Prominence, roll the walls instead of spraying them, and put flake epoxy floors in the clubhouse.
This is the kind of job we’re built for: big commercial work, run on schedule, with a coating system to spec.

Municipal wastewater treatment plant — coating in progress.

Scope includes chlorine contact structures, structural steel, and generator containment. Full surface prep, primer, and high-build epoxy applied to the written project specification, with a UV-stable urethane topcoat on all surfaces open to sky.
