Newport Fine Linens: Rental-Retail-Custom Table Linens, Home Decor, & Gifts

END OF SEASON SALE 20% off ITEMS ON FRONT TABLE TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1st. We are closing early today to work on the annual Event Linen Overstock Sale. Watch this space. 😉

New class starts this Monday! We are a happy group with low stress entree. Email Jennifer at [email protected] for registration information.

Shoppers in the U.S. are willing to spend hundreds of dollars for a mahjong set. In the eastern Chinese city of Taixing, manufacturers can barely keep up with the demand.

Visiting Newport this weekend without your set? No worries. Stop in. We have the tables set up with mats, tiles, racks, and cards. Bring in your group. We can accommodate up to 16. One table will be set up with the Halloween Tiles! 🤗

Email Jennifer to register for the 2-4 pm or the 5:30-7:30 pm classes. Come on your own or bring your friends and family. We have a great time while learning. [email protected]

You've been asking. We are finally answering! The next Cohort is here - If you have never touched a tile or went to a game or two and were quite overwhelmed - this class is for you. We make sure that you know all the tiles by name, you'll know all of the terms, all the rules, and the etiquette so that you are never a "Barbara" out in the Mahjong Wild. We graduate players to go enjoy games at The Elks, The Vanderbilt, Jamestown Library, and other opportunities around Newport. We also have our own Open Play schedule on our app and "Pop In with Your People" on Saturdays and Sundays 12-4. Learn how to play and start meeting new friends.

As usual I forgot to take photos before and during so this is the “after”. We had a wee welcome party for Thomas while he was here from Luxembourg. We so enjoyed his visit and the friends that came to say hello. 🧡
