Running a business has taught me a lot over the last few years.

But one of the biggest lessons came from our very first house.

We accidentally broke a homeowner’s window.

I remember feeling absolutely sick. We were brand new, and I had no idea what to do. There wasn’t a manager to call, a business owner to step in, or someone else to solve the problem.

It was my responsibility.

At the time, it felt like a disaster.

Looking back, it was one of the most important moments in our journey.

That experience taught me that being a business owner isn’t about being perfect. It’s about taking ownership, doing the right thing, and making things right when they don’t go according to plan.

I’m grateful for the customers who showed us grace while we learned, grew, and built this company.

And I’m grateful for every challenge that helped shape the values we still operate by today.

Trust. Accountability. Doing the right thing.

Those lessons started with a broken window. 💗

Most people think hard water stains are just dirty windows…

But over time, those minerals can actually start damaging the glass if they sit too long.

In Utah, sprinkler systems are one of the biggest causes we see. The earlier it’s caught, the better chance the glass has of being restored before permanent etching happens.

Every transformation was SO satisfying to watch 💗

When we started Pink’s, I wasn’t trying to build “just another window cleaning company.”

I wanted to build something people could trust.

A company that shows up professionally.
A company that communicates.
A company that treats customers and employees with respect.
A company families feel comfortable inviting to their homes.

This business has pushed me far outside my comfort zone more times than I can count. There have been stressful days, exhausting days, and moments where I questioned if we could really do this.

But then I’ll see one of our vans driving through Salt Lake, or read a kind review from a customer, and it reminds me why we started.

We’re incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported us, hired us, referred us, shared our posts, or trusted us with their homes.

You can absolutely hire the cheapest window cleaner.

We see it all the time… and we’re usually the ones coming in after to redo it.

Missed spots. Streaks. Or just not quite the feeling you were hoping for.

I get it, everyone wants to save money.
But your home should feel clean, calm, and taken care of… not like “good enough.”

There’s a difference between cheap… and peace of mind.

If you’ve ever had to have your windows redone, you know exactly what I mean.

So I did!

Started with house windows…
then storefronts…
then house washes…
then offices…
now we’re cleaning entire buildings, pressure washing, solar panels… all of it.

Guess this turned into a real job. job
