Warm walnut meets a bright, modern design.

Natural walnut cabinetry brings warmth and character to this new home, creating contrast against the crisp white finishes throughout the kitchen. The same cabinetry carries into the primary bath, powder room and drop zone, creating a connected look from room to room.

And there’s plenty of function built in, too. Thoughtful storage includes deep drawers, tray dividers, a hidden paper towel holder and dedicated drop-zone storage for everything from everyday essentials to cleaning supplies.

In the billiard room, dark cabinetry adds a different look while still fitting naturally with the home’s midcentury modern style.

A great example of how cabinetry can bring both function and continuity to an entire home.

Who says your kitchen cabinets have to be one color?

Mixing finishes can add depth, define different areas of the kitchen and make the entire space feel more intentional.

For this 1960s split-level remodel, three KraftMaid finishes work together throughout the space. Vanilla Smoke keeps the upper cabinetry light, Harbor adds contrast along the base cabinets, and Cherry Husk brings warmth to the furniture-inspired accents.

The mix of finishes helps each area stand out while still feeling like part of one cohesive kitchen.

And there’s plenty of function behind the design, with appliance garages, dedicated storage, a hutch-style pantry and a built-in window bench helping make the most of the newly expanded space.

Designed for a busy family, with plenty of room to gather.

This kitchen was created for a builder’s personal home with a goal of combining clean, timeless design with the warmth and character of its working farm setting.

Shiloh cabinetry in a Thyme stain brings a natural green tone into the space, while generous counter space and a large island give the family plenty of room for everyday meals, gathering and baking.

Function was just as important as the look. Storage on all four sides of the island, plenty of drawers and rollouts, and a dedicated baking area help make the kitchen work for a large family. The adjoining pantry adds even more organized storage for everything from baking supplies to grab-and-go sports snacks.
