Furniture flipping is labor intensive, but totally doable in a weekend. Here’s a realistic project timeline, for those looking to get into the work.

2hrs - Purchase desk on FBM
3hrs - Strip paint
2hrs - Sand
1hr - Stain & Seal

*Timeline reflects actual labor. Lots of breaks were taken between tasks (I’ve got a family 😅), and I left time to dry between coats.

I thrifted this awesome book. The pictures lift off the page making it easy to pull them out and frame them. I used this set of frames from Costco that came with mats.

Easy two-step furniture refinishing. Without restaining, I took this drab dresser to chic by simply removing the layers of old stain with Antique Furniture Refinisher and resealing with a polyurethane. The results, a buttery smooth finish with excellent color using minimal products. I could not be more happy with the results!

I tried furniture refinishing. My goal was to get this done in one day. I chose to only use furniture refinisher to remove the layers of stain leaving a nice antique patina behind. I then sealed it with a matte poly. Over all, it turned out great. The finish is so smooth to the touch. I think this dresser would look so cute in a nursery.

Wet coffee grounds are the WORST thing to sweep up! 😟Am I right?!? Here’s a hack I’ve found. This also works for brown sugar.
