I am happy to finally share the sequel to “Following My Spirit Home” — has a release date of September 2026.

This new bilingual art coffee table book is a curated collection of pieces inspired by my journey through the seasons of nature along the North Shore. It is especially meaningful to me as this was the last project my imbaabaa and I worked on together and is dedicated to him.

I’ve seen a lot of ravens recently. Most recently sitting on a deer carcass alongside a beautiful Migizi. It always makes me laugh when witnessing a Migizi give up its food after being harassed by a number of ravens who don’t share. I’m excited for the warm days of spring when the ravens return to my backyard for peanuts.

It has been some time since I’ve posted any new art. My imbaabaa has journeyed home to our ancestors. I use to call him while driving through the Fond du lac reservation especially when I had been walking near the St. Louis River. This piece celebrates the beauty of the St. Louis River and name / sturgeon conservation efforts being done there. There are 342 stars on this piece to honor my imbaabaa birthday.

It feels good to be in the studio today with sage burning.

It’s so nice to be in the studio on this super frigid biboon evening toasty warm in the studio painting again. Cleaning up all of last year’s sketches and getting ready for a new year of making and painting again.

It’s hard to believe how much I created or brainstormed this past year. Excited to share some exciting news in 2026.
