Thank you for stopping by; It means so much! Here is a little info about me:
Creativity was all around me growing up in Eagle river. My great grandmother owned a owned an antique store, and my father was a wood worker. I remember him always working on some new creation. I guess I grew up with the philosophy "If you can't find it, make it yourself!"

Vintage Poppy started when I had a toddler and

a bun in the oven. I needed a creative outlet, and a way to provide for my family while staying home with my boys. I began making jewelry and painting furniture, which has become a huge passion of mine. Over the years I have expanded to working with leather, metal, wood, antiques and repurposing everyday, forgotten items into something to treasure. As my business has grown, I have grown with it. The best advice I could give anyone is that "comparison is the thief of joy." You should do and make what speaks to YOU, and others will be drawn to that. If it inspires you, it will inspire someone else, too. Never give up...those little steps will get bigger and will take you to your destination!

Looking at all the work I need to do to fill these shelves šŸ‘€ while juggling all the other hats I wear in lifeā€¦ itā€™s a lot right now.

I know you havenā€™t seen me on here much latelyā€”thereā€™s been so much happening at with the remodelā€”but I just wanted to pop in and say hey. Iā€™m so thankful youā€™re here, and I truly appreciate you sticking with me through the chaos.

Thereā€™s so much more coming soon, and I canā€™t wait to share it with you šŸ„° For now, itā€™s back to the workbench to create beautiful pieces to fill these shelves.
